Ce colloque d\u2019envergure vise \u00e0 r\u00e9aliser un \u00e9tat des lieux des diverses approches m\u00e9thodologiques en\u00a0recherche-cr\u00e9ation. Il confirme la place de Montr\u00e9al en tant que p\u00f4le majeur dans ce domaine. Il permettra la rencontre de plus d\u2019une trentaine de participants, chercheurs et artistes, canadiens et \u00e9trangers. L\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement compte sur la collaboration de la Facult\u00e9 des arts, d\u2019Hexagram CIAM et d\u2019Hexagram UQAM.<\/p>\n

L\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement est coorganis\u00e9 par\u00a0Louise Poissant, Gis\u00e8le Trudel, Jean Dubois, Pierre Gosselin<\/strong>\u00a0et\u00a0Monique R\u00e9gimbald-Zeiber<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Divers facteurs ont favoris\u00e9 le d\u00e9veloppement du concept de recherche-cr\u00e9ation. Des analyses visant \u00e0 baliser le terrain pour comprendre ce qui concourt au processus de cr\u00e9ation et pour faciliter les collaborations interdisciplinaires \u00e9mergent des pratiques et des recherches artistiques universitaires.<\/p>\n

\u00c0 l\u2019heure o\u00f9 la recherche se d\u00e9cline en recherche-d\u00e9veloppement, recherche-innovation, recherche-intervention, il devient essentiel de mieux cerner la recherche-cr\u00e9ation. Qu\u2019elle porte sur les mat\u00e9riaux, les techniques et les savoir-faire, ou sur les th\u00e8mes et les id\u00e9es cristallis\u00e9s dans l\u2019\u0153uvre, la recherche-cr\u00e9ation impose ses contraintes et ses proc\u00e9dures. Six sous-th\u00e8mes interconnect\u00e9s permettront de rejoindre les d\u00e9marches les plus inspirantes :<\/p>\n

D\u2019autres activit\u00e9s sont programm\u00e9es en marge du colloque, notamment des projections dans le cadre du Festival International du Film sur l\u2019Art\u00a0(FIFA).<\/p>\n

This timely and important colloquium aims to take stock of different methodological approaches in research-creation. It confirms the status of Montreal as a major locus in this domain. It will bring together more than thirty participants, researchers and artists, from Canada and abroad. The event is a co-production of the Faculty of Arts, Hexagram | CIAM and Hexagram UQAM.<\/p>\n

Various factors have enabled the development of the concept of research-creation. Analyses that aim to mark out the terrain and understand what contributes to the process of creation and what facilitates interdisciplinary collaboration, have emerged from praxis and artistic university research.<\/p>\n

With the current turn in research into research-development, research-innovation, and research-intervention, it is essential to better define research-creation, which entails particular constraints and procedures in terms of materials, technique and know-how, and the way themes and ideas crystallize in artworks. Six interconnected sub-themes will link the most inspiring and recent practices on the subject:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
